The Triangle Leisure Centre undergoes £765k refurbishments

The popular Triangle Leisure Centre in Burgess Hill is currently undergoing a number of changes including an upgraded gym and a £200k solar photovoltaic system.

The Triangle is owned by Mid Sussex District Council (MSDC) and run by Places Leisure.

Planned in partnership with MSDC, the gym upgrade introduces new equipment supplied by Life Fitness, including Smith machines, Concept 2 Ski Ergos, HD Performance Air Bikes, and Power Mills.

Councillor Chris Hobbs, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Customer Services at Mid Sussex District Council, said: “It’s been great to see the transformation and improvements at The Triangle Leisure Centre. The addition of these new facilities will enhance our community’s well-being and play a significant role in making our district a healthier and happier place.

“This investment is a step towards making inclusive, sustainable, and outstanding spaces for everyone and we look forward to all future improvements in our leisure centres and creating a vibrant, healthy district.”

The Sports Hall has also recently undergone renovations in order to upgrade the space, and a refurbished Costa store has reopened.
